Man Without Wax is a 6-piece rock band from the Pacific Northwest.

Our Name: In ancient times, dishonest sculptors in Spain would patch their mistakes with wax, or in Spanish – “cera”. When a marble statue was carved without wax or “sin cera”, it signified something flawless or true. Some historians view this as the origin of the English word, sincere.

Our story has come along way. From our teenage beginnings in our parents’ garage, to touring on the national stage for enthusiastic crowds. It’s been a homer-esque journey including broken strings, broken instruments, broken vans, broken limbs, a broken wedding engagement, and the birth of a child, that has brought us to this point. After touring for our last record in 2010, we’ve taken some much needed time-off to refocus on writing and recording music for our next release.
